The SPORT initiative focuses on improving the provision of sporting facilities in Gamlingay. The following list is not exhaustive and will be supplemented by the results of the Parish Plan, but it does contain a list of those areas that FG! will be focusing on:-

• Football
• Tennis
• Badminton
• Netball
• Bowls
• Cricket

The highlight of the SPORT initiative will be a MUGA (Multi Use Games Area) which will be an enclosed floodlit area with all weather surfacing about the size of a 5-a-side football pitch. The proposed location is adjoining the Village College tennis courts so that both the school children and the community receive the benefit of a fantastic facility.
